Resources for the Backbench Debate on the MIR increase

In conjunction with the Backbench Debate on the Increase to the MIR which will be held on the 23rd of April we have collected here on this page a series of resources that MPs and the public could use to illustrate the various issues caused by the policy.

We are very grateful to Paul Blomfield MP for putting forward the debate and we hope it will be yet another opportunity for parliamentarians and the public at large to hear about the impacts of the policy, of the lives on hold, the sacrifices and the mental health crisis caused by such a cruel policy.

We will keep adding resources ahead of the debate on the 23rd of April.
