Government announce immigration and NHS fees hike

The government has announced on Thursday the 13th of July that they will significantly increase the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) as well as various categories of immigration fees.

Increases announced:

Immigration Health Surcharge:

£1035 for adults

£776 for under-18s and students

Immigration Fees

Work visa and visit visa by 15%                  

study visas, certificates of sponsorship, settlement, citizenship, wider entry clearance, leave to remain and priority visas by at least 20%

Likely impact on 5-year route
